Our grade 11 outdoor ed class went on a trip to Banff, the first day we got to our destination we had to set up our tents and ge cozy .. we stayed in Kananaskas,by Mnt.Kidd, it was very cold the first three nights but we made it through. Day Two of our trip, we went on a 15.1 or 15.7 km hike, it was hard but we made it..while we're hiking it started snowing,getting muddy and cold..but we didn't quite we made it to the top and was able to see and verry Beeeaaauutttiffuuull senery.
The third day we went moved our tents to a different camp sight called "Mount. Kidd Camp Grounds" it was very nice at our camp site and we seen mountains and water falls, it was very enjoyng. The same day we had to hike and this hike was harder than the last hike... this hike was going up ..and by the time we we're getting to the top we could barely make it,but we manage to pull energizer bunnies and finish the hike we started, It was amazing to realize we made it to the top of Little Mount Kidd (which isn't so little), beautiful to see every thing.
Thursday Was the Most exciting experience that we we're all looking forward to (that was the main reason we all came lol) We went White Water Rafting and Cliff Diving( the most scariest thing I've ever experienced) we the most enjoying and most fun White water rafting...Cliff diving was extremely scary but did it anyway. On the way home We all we're crashed out and exhausted..we would so do that again but maybe this time we'll check out the Grand canyon or go see Niagra Falls,either one would be nice...:D
